Heat index values up to 102.
WHERE:
A portion of central Pennsylvania.
WHEN:
Until 8 PM EDT Wednesday.
IMPACTS:
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Smoke aloft from wildfires in central Canada may help to lower the temperatures a degree or two from current expectations for Wednesday. If it does, that would help to lessen concerns for heat illnesses.
Recommended Actions:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room.
