Gusty winds will be common today ahead of an approaching cold front. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening in the Advisory area and could produce locally stronger gusts. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings may be needed for thunderstorm wind gusts > 58 mph.
