HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania’s hospitals seek a $100 million infusion of state and federal funding to avert a worst-case scenario where in five years, up to 14 hospitals cut services or shut down while remaining facilities collectively sink into a negative operating margin totaling an estimated $7.4 billion, according to a new report.
