PD: Woman arrested with over 100 pills of suspected ecstasy

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Police said a woman was arrested after they found over 100 pills of suspected ecstasy during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police pulled over 40-year-old Anna Marie Hillard, from Hanover Township, in the area of Kings Road for an alleged traffic violation. 

During the traffic stop, investigators said Hillard was found to have 108 pills of suspected ecstasy.

Hillard is being charged with one count of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with/fabricating physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hillard was arraigned Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in place of $50,000 bail.
