PennDOT announces water, sewer rehabilitation project in Montour County

MAHONING TOWNSHIP, MONTOUR COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) says crews will be working on a water and sewer rehabilitation project this week in Montour County.

PennDOT announced on Monday they are advising drivers of a water and sewer rehabilitation project on Bloom Road (Route 2008) in Mahoning Township.

Starting on Wednesday, March 26, a contractor working for Veolia Water will be working on Bloom Road near the intersection with Cashner's Lane between Kingsley Avenue and Lombard Avenue, PennDOT explained.

Drivers can expect alternating lane restrictions between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., may experience minor delays, and should drive with caution in the area, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT expects the project to be finished on Friday, March 28, if weather allows.
