(WBRE/WYOU) — The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DNCR) says there is a high chance of wildfire on Thursday, April 24, and advises not to burn.

The DNCR says 99.9% of all wildfires in PA are caused by people.
Fire Department celebrates 100 years with community day
They advise avoiding burning or using extra caution when starting outdoor fires, as every county in our area is at a high risk level.
There is a burn ban in place in Montour County that expires Friday, April 25.
