DERRY TOWNSHIP, MONTOUR COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is dead after a fatal crash on State Route 54 in a construction zone in Montour County.
According to state police, a 21-year-old man from Orangeville was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash.

Police say the driver failed to respond to a flagger in a work zone of an upcoming oversized load, which led to the 21-year-old striking the trailer of the oversized load with the driver's side of the vehicle.
There was a passenger in the 21-year-old's car, she was taken to the hospital for suspected minor injuries.
