SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Luzerne County man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for drug and firearm offences he committed in 2024.
According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, in June of 2024, 32-year-old Justis Shea, of Glen Lyon, intended to distribute fentanyl and K2, a synthetic cannabinoid, out of a hotel room in Luzerne County.

The release states that Shea also admitted to possessing a stolen rifle while being a felon.
Shea was charged with, and subsequently pleaded guilty to, possession with intent to distribute, and illegal possession of a firearm.
Judge Julia K. Munley sentenced Shea to 130 months in prison and three years of supervised release.
