(WBRE/WYOU)— Wilkes-Barre's biggest rivalry is kicking off the Division III football season!
Join Nick and Ricky as they talk to Kings Head Coach Michael Cebrosky and Wilkes Head Coach David Bieber ahead of Thursday night's 29th annual Mayor's Cup at 7:00 p.m.
The coaches talk what this rivalry means for the city of Wilkes-Barre, the programs themselves and the alumni of both schools.
Wilkes currently holds a 15-13 lead over Kings in the series, winning the last three including last year's game 43-28.
We'll also preview the NFL opener as the Eagles and Cowboys face off on Thursday Night Football unveiling their Super Bowl banner.
Lastly, hoops season is slowly approaching, which means it's time for some NBA talk as All Star weekend is seeing another revamp.
