DANVILLE, MONTOUR COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Montour County man was arrested Wednesday after breaking into a smoke shop in Danville.
According to a press release, police were dispatched to Smoke Rings, a vape and smoke shop, around 3 a.m. Wednesday for a suspect inside the business.

No one was seen inside the store when officers arrived, but officials say security footage showed a man entering through the broken storefront window and removing merchandise and lottery tickets.
Police say the man appeared to be wearing a hospital ID bracelet.
The investigation revealed the suspect to be Patrick David Dowling of Shamokin.
Police say Dowling was located in Danville around 6 a.m., carrying two black backpacks, which were found to be full of the stolen merchandise. Dowling was taken into custody without incident.
Dowling faces felony burglary charges and is awaiting his preliminary hearing in Montour County Prison.
