WAYNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police say a man has been arrested after three people were shot Sunday afternoon in a Wayne County community.
At 3:00 p.m. Sunday, troopers were called to a reported shooting at The Hideout community.

When state police arrived, they say they found 26-year-old Lucas Gartrell from Lake Ariel in the area of the shooting and took him into custody without incident.
PSP said a Hideout security officer was pronounced dead on scene, while two people were taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton and are currently in stable condition.

Some people who live at The Hideout gathered in a nearby restaurant parking lot to watch the scene unfold before they were allowed back inside the community, a community now reeling following deadly gunfire.
State police say they are actively investigating the incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
