Fire policeman struck by car while directing traffic

DANVILLE, MONTOUR COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A fire policeman is in the hospital after being struck by a car in central Pennsylvania over the weekend. Danville police say the officer was hit while directing traffic on Mill Street on Sunday. He was taken to the hospital for suspected minor injuries. It's unclear whether the driver faces charges.
