Crews have begun preparing for Scranton's La Festa Italiana on Labor Day Weekend. This will mark the 49th year of the celebration.

The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Foundation hosts a golf tournament every year at Pinecrest Lake Golf and Country Club. The fundraiser kicked off with the golf ball drop from a helicopter.

The foundation helps to raise funds for the department's K9, SWAT, and bike patrol units, from veterinary care to uniforms and body cameras.
