MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Golfers hit the greens for a good cause on Monday in Monroe County.
The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Foundation hosts a golf tournament every year at Pinecrest Lake Golf and Country Club. The fundraiser kicked off with the golf ball drop from a helicopter.
The foundation helps to raise funds for the department's K9, SWAT, and bike patrol units, from veterinary care to uniforms and body cameras.
