Monroe County asks residents to weigh in on disaster plans

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Monroe County wants residents to weigh in on how it handles disasters.

The county released an updated hazard mitigation plan Thursday during a meeting at the Pocono campus of Northampton Community College.

It outlines the area's biggest risks from natural and human-made disasters and what can be done about them.
