COOLBAUGH TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A municipal building is closed in Monroe County after threats to public and employee safety.
The Coolbaugh Township Municipal Center and Department of Public Works are now closed until further notice.
Luzerne County nursing home set to close
The threats came after Coolbaugh Township Supervisor Cara Rogan got into an argument with a resident in a pharmacy drive-through window.
A township meeting was held Tuesday night, but it's unclear if the threats came at the meeting.

Jennifer Vandermark, a spokesperson for Bonham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Huntington Township, tells 28/22 News due to the financial realities of the long-term care system in Pennsylvania, the facility has no choice but to close.
