Netflix is raising prices again: Here's when, and how much your bill is going up

(NEXSTAR) — Netflix ended 2024 on a high note, adding nearly 19 million subscribers amid its holiday slate of live sports, but that isn't keeping it from raising subscription fees again.

In a letter to shareholders Tuesday, Netflix said it is "adjusting prices today across most plans in the US, Canada, Portugal and Argentina."

"As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can re-invest to further improve Netflix," the letter explained.

State Rep., local organizations hand out food after skimmers drain EBT cards

People lost everything on their cards, leaving them unable to buy food.

On Tuesday, local organizations are making sure these families have a meal on their table.

State Representative Brenda Pugh and a number of local organizations met on Tuesday to hand out food to those victims of the EBT scam.

Shapiro Administration visits Pittston for Downtown Revitalization

PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Shapiro Administration made a stop in Luzerne County on Tuesday.

The Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger joined Mayor Michael Lombardo and other local leaders to tour revitalized Pittston.

The visit highlighted the Shapiro Administration's commitment to investing in Pennsylvania's downtowns and small businesses.

They've invested $3,000,000 to support several revitalization projects in downtown Pittston.
