Teen fatally shoots 16-year-old girl, himself at Tennessee high school: police

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — A shooting in a Nashville high school cafeteria Wednesday left a female student dead and another student wounded nearly two years after another deadly school shooting in the city that ignited an emotional debate about gun control in Tennessee.

The 17-year-old shooter, who was also a student at Antioch High School, later shot and killed himself with a handgun, Metro Nashville Police spokesperson Don Aaron said during a news conference. Police identified him as Solomon Henderson.

Explosive confrontation destroys duplex in Pottsville

POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing multiple charges after police say he destroyed two homes with the use of Molotov cocktails.

According to the Pottsville Bureau of Police, 36-year-old Tyrie Dunn has been charged for his role in starting a fire that destroyed a duplex, of which one unit was vacant and the other where his son lived.

8th Street now reopened after water main break

(WBRE/WYOU) — Wyoming Area Regional Police say 8th Street in West Wyoming to Kingston Township was closed to all traffic due to "a large water main break".

Police say 8th Street from Shoemaker Avenue in West Wyoming to Carverton Road in Kingston Township was closed to all traffic due to a water main break.

The road is now reopened and service has been restored.

House fire battle in freezing temperatures

Pennsylvania American Water says there was a broken eight-inch water main. Approximately 15 customers were impacted.
