HERRICK TOWNSHIP, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A home is destroyed after an early morning fire in Susquehanna County.
The fire broke out just after four this morning in Herrick Township.
Residents who reported the fire on the 500 block of Tirzah Road say at least eight people were staying in the home.

61-year-old Kevin Koch sustained injuries due to the explosion of a pyrotechnic device on Friday, around 10:15 p.m. in Towamensing Township, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.

NORTH CODORUS, Pa. (WHTM) — Three Northern York County Regional Police officers have been identified as the victims of what York County District Attorney Tim Barker called a "brutal ambush" on Wednesday.
The officers were identified as Det. Sgt. Cody Becker, Det. Mark Baker, and Det. Isaiah Emenheiser. A fourth Northern York County Regional police officer and a York County Deputy Sheriff were also shot and taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Officers were dispatched to a home on South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the release.
The victim told police he had gotten into a verbal argument with 33-year-old Alijah Grier-Wright of Wilkes-Barre.
