"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," his family said in a statement posted to social media and shared with various outlets.

"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time," the statement continued. Osbourne's wife of more than 40 years, Sharon, signed the statement, as did his children, Aimee, Kelly, Jack, and Louis.

In Hazleton recently, domestic violence was front and center when a man allegedly pistol-whipped a pregnant woman in the middle of the street in broad daylight.

That man, Rodelfy Litriano Corniel, remains on the run. An arrest warrant was issued for Corniel 11 days ago. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

EDWARDSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man was found stabbed 12 times after he claims to have declined sex from a woman, leading to an assault.

On July 17, officers were called to an apartment complex on Roosevelt Street in Edwardsville for a reported stabbing. Once on the scene, the victim was found lying on the floor in a pool of blood with injuries to his abdomen.

A witness gave police the suspected knife used in the assault and informed them that the stabbing happened in the parking lot, investigators reported.

Flames broke out along East Drinker Street in the borough around 10:30 a.m.

TOBYHANNA, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is facing charges, police say she was found walking, covered in blood, after a stabbing.

On July 21, around 9:50 p.m., officers were called to Starlight Terrace in Tobyhanna for a reported stabbing. While police were responding to the scene, they said reports came in for a woman walking on Winding Way, covered in blood.

The suspect, identified as Colleen Hall, 56, of Tobyhanna, was combative when police attempted to arrest her, kicking an officer in the chest.
