MONROE TWP., SNYDER COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police say a man died at the hospital after a crash on Susquehanna Trail Monday.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, on December 16 around 5:00 a.m., a crash occurred on North Susquehanna Trail on US-11 in Monroe Township.
Coroner called to multi-vehicle crash on Rt. 115 in Luzerne County
Police say the driver, 47-year-old Robert Romig from Selinsgrove, drove off the road, over a curb, hit a traffic sign and a utility pole.
Romig was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead around 6:00 a.m.

BUCK TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The coroner was called to a two-vehicle crash on Route 115 in Buck Township Tuesday morning.
On December 17, crews responded to a crash involving multiple vehicles around 10:30 a.m. on Buck Boulevard (Route 115) and Blueberry Lane in Buck Township.

Police say a one-month-old infant died while in the care of her mother 19-year-old Natalee Michele Rasmus. An autopsy report determined the cause of death as asphyxia due to mechanical compression, state police reported.
