HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — We made it to the finish line for the 28/22 "Hunger Free Summer" campaign. For three years now, 28/22 has been helping area children and families in need.
This year, we partnered with Gerrity's the Fresh Grocer and Gerrity's Ace Hardware stores.
To finish up this year's event, 28/22 was in Hanover Township, and that's where 28/22 News Morning Anchor Tom Williams and Chris Bohinski were on Wednesday, collecting donations.
