LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- The Lancaster County Board of Elections announced staff members identified approximately 2,500 suspected fraudulent voter registration applications that were dropped off at the county election office.
According to the Board of Elections, the voter registration applications were dropped off in two separate batches at or near the submission deadline. Officials say it does not appear the fraudulent applications favored one political party over another and that the apparent operation began in July.

WYOMING BOROUGH, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One person is dead after a motorcycle collided with a car Friday afternoon in Wyoming.
Wyoming Area Regional Police Department say that driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries Saturday morning.
The crash happened Friday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Route 11 (Wyoming Avenue) near the Wyoming Area Regional Police headquarters.
Route 11 was shut down for approximately two hours on Friday because of the crash.
Police say the driver of the car was treated and released at the hospital.
DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after police say he pointed a gun at a driver during a road rage incident on Interstate 81.
Pennsylvania State Police is investigating a road rage incident on October 16 around 10:00 a.m. on I-81 in Dunmore.
