Floral shops deal with tariff challenges

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Florists are seeing price increases tied to tariffs, and with Mother's Day this weekend, shoppers may get sticker shock.

28/22 News stopped by one flower shop in Monroe County to find out how they are handling the higher price tag.

“Prom always tends to fall on Mother’s Day (Weekend), so it gets quite hectic in here,” said Gouny.

Man charged with distribution of child pornography

WESTFALL TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pike County District Attorney's office announced a man has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.

According to the district attorney, Christopher Wirth, 27, of Westfall Township, faces child pornography related charges after detectives received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
