FORKSTON TOWNSHIP, WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials say a Wyoming County man has been charged with drug trafficking and firearm offenses.
According to the United States Department of Justice, Anthony Donnora Sr., 79, of Forkston Township was arrested after a joint investigation involving Homeland Security Investigations–Scranton Office, the Wyoming County District Attorney’s Office, and other agencies.
Authorities say the crimes occurred in Wyoming County from August 2021 through February 2024.

GILBERT, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A new billboard along a highway in the Poconos is catching the eyes of thousands of travelers throughout Monroe County.

Route 209 is a busy stretch in Gilbert filled with several billboards along the highway, but a new one is causing drivers like Bill Parkin to pull over and take a picture.

DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Four people are wanted for allegedly committing several retail thefts in northeastern Pennsylvania.
According to the Dickson City Police Department, the four people pictured were involved in several thefts in Dickson City and Wilkes-Barre Township.
