DANVILLE — Saint Cyril preschoolers and kindergarteners supported a local charity Thursday by doing what they do best — play.

MIFFLINBURG — School board officials in Mifflinburg expect to be awarded funding through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), a commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget.

Emergency crews battled a blaze and evacuated patients from a northeastern Pennsylvania hospital after a fire broke out. Authorities say no one was injured in Wednesday night's fire at the Lehigh Valley Hospital campus in Dickson City. Fire officials say it started on the roof of an older building formerly known as Scranton Orthopedics, not inside the attached main hospital building. Smoke and water damage were reported.
