BEECH CREEK, CLINTON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is in custody after he allegedly fled from and fired at troopers Tuesday night.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were serving a warrant on a man identified a Brandon Bitner, at his home on the 2000 block of Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle Township just before 9:00 p.m..
Bitner fired a round with a shotgun towards troopers, then fled in his vehicle on PA-150, state police explained.

The station's new ride was made possible thanks to a $74,000 grant and State Representative Tarah Probst, who was at the fire station for the unveiling.

DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — There is a new inclusive playground at Dallas Intermediate School. The Boundless Playground provides all types of children the opportunity to play with their friends and grow a community within the school.
State and federal grants were driving forces for the project to be completed for the start of the school year. The dallas township police department also made a large donation.
The long wait was worth it for the community in Dallas.

The spill came from a tank breach on 2nd Street in Williamsport Sunday evening.

63-year-old Peter Luck was driving along I-80 eastbound near the East Stroudsburg exit, Friday, when a hitch off of the back of a commercial tractor-trailer flew off.
The hitch flew directly into Luck's windshield.
