SWEET VALLEY, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A dog is dead and a home is badly damaged after a fire in Luzerne County.
Officials confirmed with 28/22 News Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire and multiple other crews were called at around 6:30 p.m. to the unit block of Sunset Terrance for a reported second-alarm fire in Sweet Valley.
Junkyard catches fire in Larksville
Officials say no one was home at the time of the fire, but a dog did die as a result.
The house did suffer damage but is not a total loss.
