LEWISBURG — A local arts organization is trying to draw interest by holding a volunteer open house.

The average gas prices across the Susquehanna Valley are a penny cheaper this week at $3.14 per gallon, according to a AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report released Monday.

TUNKHANNOCK TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police report that an ATV driver was killed after a crash and sent a passenger to the hospital for serious injuries.

On September 13, around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to a crash involving an ATV and a vehicle on Route 115 in Tunkhannock Township.

Police say the ATV driver, Dymtro Prokopets, 22, with a passenger, Andrii Zhyryk, 19, both of Brooklyn, New York, were on SR 115 when a vehicle hit them from behind.
