Heavy police presence in Lackawanna County

SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials say police were out in Lackawanna County for a reported incident Tuesday night.

Authorities explained that police were called to the 400 block of Northern Spy Road in South Abington Township.

Residents explore Monroe County Courthouse after renovations

The Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of northeastern Pennsylvania hosted its annual Pinwheels for Prevention event at Courthouse Square in Downtown Scranton.

The eye-catching display serves as a very solemn reminder that each pinwheel planted on the lawn at the Lackawanna County Courthouse represents a child who has been abused.
