BUTLER TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The driver of a tractor-trailer dies after crashing the vehicle on Interstate 80 Thursday.
According to the Hazle Township Fire & Rescue Company, at 6:00 a.m. crews were called to I-80 west mile marker 267.2 in Butler Township for a rollover tractor-trailer crash.

DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Dickson City residents can expect traffic delays on a roadway as crews make an emergency gas main repair.
According to the Dickson City Fire Department, the 1000 block of Throop Street has been closed off to all traffic due to urgent natural gas main repairs.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police Schuylkill Haven say they have arrested a juvenile for making threats to bring a firearm to school.
Authorities say they were informed of a juvenile student making threats to bring a firearm into a school. Police took the juvenile into custody on September 11 as a result of the investigation.
Police have not released the name of the male student or the school where the threat was placed.

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Lackawanna County has announced three new positive tests of the West Nile virus from Mosquito samples found in Scranton.
There have been 394 samples taken in Lackawanna County with 26 positives according to Lackawanna County Communications Director Patrick McKenna.
No human cases of the virus have been found in the county according to Program Coordinator, Rocco Genovese.

MAHANOY CITY, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman being served with an arrest warrant for arson tried to flee police by going onto a roof, officers stated.
According to the Mahanoy City Police Department, officers went to a home to serve a felony warrant on 34-year-old Chanily Ferran Navedo of Mahanoy City.
