EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) unveiled a new program, "Text-to-911", that allows texting 911 for emergencies across all Pennsylvania counties.
PEMA states on its website that voice calls are preferred and this feature is directed towards individuals who have speech or hearing impairments, those having emergencies that render them unable to speak, or instances where making noise may endanger the caller.

DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A retail theft suspect is wanted for stealing alcohol and crabs from Wegmans.
According to the Dickson City Police Department, on September 5, a suspect was seen fleeing Wegmans with a bottle of wine and a bag of crab legs.

Man wanted for allegedly intimidating a witness
Police say the suspect left the area in a white BMW and is possibly from the East Mountain area of Scranton.
Anyone with information on the retail theft suspect is asked to contact Officer Tully at 570-382-8012.

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for a man wanted for witness intimidation charges in Luzerne County.
The Hazleton City Police Department is looking to locate Ryan Dura, 34, of West Hazleton.
13-year-old hit by car in Pittston, driver charged with DUI
Investigators say Dura is wanted for an incident on August 5 on the following charges;
Witness intimidation
Terroristic threats
Anyone who knows Dura's whereabouts is asked to contact 911 immediately.
