SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Scranton teen who faced a life-threatening cancer diagnosis had her dream come true, thanks to Make-A-Wish.
At just 16 years old, Gemma Bistran has been through more than most her age. Two years ago, she was diagnosed with lymphoma, a life-threatening form of cancer.
"They found out that it was primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma, which is a rare and aggressive form. I had it for 16 weeks before that, it just traveled extremely rapidly," Gemma explained.
