LEWISBURG — The Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority will receive $61,625 in funding for upgrades to the Lewisburg Recreation Park in Union County.State Sen. Gene Yaw, R-23, and state Rep. David Rowe, R-85, announced the award Thursday. The award was considered at a Commonwealth Financing Authority meeting and approved through the authority’s Local Share Account statewide program.“Investing in our local parks and recreation facilities enhances quality of life and strengthens our communities,” Yaw said.
