BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— We have an update to a story we've been following about a marching band from Columbia County embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Bloomsburg High School marching band has been collecting money to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii. They were the only group from Pennsylvania asked to take part in the national event.
Now just four months away, countless hours of practice and attending community events has put them nearly halfway to their $200,000 goal and the students say they're so thankful.
