Penn State police investigate cellphone incident involving Jason Kelce and a fan

Penn State University police are investigating an altercation between retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and a fan over a cellphone that occurred before the weekend game between the Nittany Lions and Ohio State. The police department’s incident log includes an entry registered Saturday in which an “officer observed a visitor damaging personal property.” Video shared on social media showed Kelce throwing the phone of a fan who heckled him while Kelce walked near Beaver Stadium before the game. The report listed the potential offenses as criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Bob Casey, Dave McCormick race to U.S. Senate

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One of Pennsylvania's two U.S. Senate seats is before voters Tuesday.

Incumbent Democrat Bob Casey is vying for a fourth term against Republican challenger and businessman Dave McCormick.

Hazleton police announce passing of K-9 Justice

On Monday, the Hazleton City Police Department sent out a release announcing the sudden passing of one of their K-9s, Justice, who passed away on Friday, November 1.

Arrest made after house drug raid in Pittston

Justice served for over nine years alongside Detective Lieutenant Howey and made the community safer by recovering a considerable number of pounds of illicit drugs and helping apprehend numerous criminals, according to police.
