SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A third person has been charged after detectives say they discovered allegations of child abuse going unreported, which led to the closure of a Lackawanna County daycare center.
An employee of Learn & Grow Early Childhood Center has been charged with child endangerment after allegations of child abuse surfaced.
The Scranton Police Department started an investigation on September 16 into allegations of physical abuse of a child at Learn & Grow Early Childhood Center on St. Ann Street.
