LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A 17-year-old has been missing from Wilkes-Barre since July 3.
And his mother is desperate to find out what happened to him.
"That's my first born, he's the reason I learned to be a mom," said Jazzmen Owens, mother, Nanticoke.
Owens, a mother of four doing her best to provide for her children.
Search for missing 37-year-old man
Last week, her oldest son, Mark Ward, didn't answer his phone after she dropped him off at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre.
Owens then went searching for Mark, following the phone's location.

KELLY TWP., UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing attempted homicide charges after state police say he ran a woman over with his vehicle in a McDonald's parking lot.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, on July 10, around 7:50 a.m., troopers were called to West Branch Highway in Kelly Township, Union County, for a woman hit by a vehicle.
On the scene, police said they learned two women had an altercation with a man identified as Caleb Daniels, 21, of Montoursville.

Wilkes-Barre City Police Department stated they are looking for information regarding the location of 37-year-old Angel Vergara.
Search underway for missing Pa. woman
Police say Vergara is 5'9'' with brown eyes and was last seen on June 27 at Home Depot.

BUSHKILL, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The body of a kayaker has been recovered after capsizing along the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
On Wednesday, park rangers from Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and rescue teams from Bushkill Fire responded to a call involving a capsized kayaker. Rescuers were on scene within 33 minutes.
