BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man wanted after a shooting in Bloomsburg has turned himself in to state police.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 19-year-old Joseph Ten Eyck has turned himself in Wednesday after being charged with attempted homicide for a shooting that injured 23-year-old Tyler Brown.
State police report on October 4, Brown was found in the parking lot of Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds after he was shot in a parking lot on Irondale Road.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A police chase in Wilkes-Barre ended with the arrest of a man wanted on a warrant, police stated.
According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on Tuesday, October 8 around 3:20 p.m., officers were trying to pull over a driver on Sullivan and South Franklin Street.
The driver, later identified as Paul Chavis, 55, of Wilkes-Barre, did not stop for officers when they activated their lights and sirens starting a chase, police said.

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police were searching for an 8-year-old boy who was reported missing in Scranton.
According to the Scranton Police Department, an 8-year-old boy went missing in the 1400 block of Vine Street at 10:00 a.m.
The boy has since been found, police stated.

FREELAND, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is being charged after police say he moved another man's body out of an apartment, leaving him outside of the building.
According to the Freeland Police Department, investigators began looking into the death of Matthew Tanner, whose body was found unresponsive in front of a building known as the "Cottage Hotel" on October 14, 2022, in Freeland.
After further investigation, detectives issued a search warrant for video evidence from the apartment building.

(AP) - Hurricane Milton plowed into Florida as a Category 3 storm Wednesday, bringing misery to a coast still ravaged by Helene, pounding cities with winds of over 100 mph after producing a barrage of tornadoes, but sparing Tampa a direct hit.
The storm tracked to the south in the final hours and made landfall in Siesta Key near Sarasota, about 70 miles south of Tampa. The situation in the Tampa area was still a major emergency as St. Petersburg recorded over 16 inches of rain, prompting the National Weather Service to warn of flash flooding.
