WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - A D.C. court released new evidence about former president Donald Trump's efforts to try and change the outcome of the 2020 election.

The special counsel argues Trump was acting not as president but as a candidate.

Victim identified after deadly Pittston Twp. fire

PITTSTON TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The coroner has identified the victim of a deadly fire in Pittston Township Wednesday night.

According to Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland, 52-year-old Ryan Bergstresser died as a result of inhaling toxic products of combustion.

The fire broke out around 6:00 p.m. at the mobile home located on Decker Lane in Pittston Township.

High speed police chase leads to arrest, meth seized

Coroner Rowland stated Bergstresser was injured when his mobile home caught fire and he was not able to exit.

West End Library's Drop Your Drawers Campaign a success

LAURELTON — The West End Library had a successful Drop Your Drawers campaign in September.Toni Novosel, the marketing director for the Union County library system, said the organization extends its "heartfelt gratitude to the community" for the annual event."We are proud to share that we collected 202 pairs of socks, 263 pairs of underwear, and 12 t-shirts for local children in need," Novosel said.These donations will be provided to the Mazeppa Manna Food Pantry for distribution to families within our community.The West End Library, 45 Ball Park Road, Laurelton along with The Public Library
