Details released after bicyclist dies during crash

BANKS TWP., CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police released details on a deadly crash where a bicyclist was hit and killed by a car.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on March 25, around 5:00 p.m., troopers responded to Spring Mountain Road on State Route 93 in Banks Township for a crash.

Police say a car and two bicyclists were traveling westbound when the driver, an 87-year-old woman from Weatherly, hit the bicyclists with the front of her bumper.
