WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Wilkes-Barre Township police arrested a pair of people they say used stolen/cloned food assistance cards throughout the East Coast.
On Wednesday around 2:40 p.m., police say Target Loss Prevention called officers for two people who were known to have used stolen/cloned food assistance cards in the past.

HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— State police in Luzerne County say they are investigating the theft of over $3,000 worth of cologne.
On February 19 at 3:48 p.m., state troopers say they were called to the Laurel Mall to investigate a reported theft at Perfume World in Hazle Township.

Authorities say their investigation led them to learn that pproximately $3,310 worth of cologne was stolen from the Laurel Mall store.
Investigators said the actors involved in the reported theft fled the area.

NORTH MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A homeless encampment is causing a disturbance in one area of Schuylkill County.
It's frustrating for people who live nearby and they want something done about it.
"There's a vagabond encampment going on for years," said North Manheim Township resident Stephen Zuk.
Along the Schuylkill River in North Manheim Township near Pottsville, there is a homeless encampment. It's littered with debris.
Zuk, who lives near it, says there's evidence of drug use and human waste being thrown into the river.

HARTLEY TOWNSHIP, UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police released information on a reported fatal crash in Hartley Township.
On Monday at about 7:45 a.m., State Troopers say they were called to a crash on Old Turnpike Road in Hartley Township.
Work zone safety camera placed across PA
After an investigation, authorities found 66-year-old Keith Wolfe was driving a truck west on Old Turnpike Road.
Troopers say Wolfe then reportedly drove into the eastbound lane, then off the roadway to the south and down an embankment.
