What comes next after death of Pope Francis

(WBRE/WYOU) — As people around the world mourn the death of Pope Francis, many are wondering what happens next. After his funeral, a new leader of the global catholic church must be chosen, a process that can take several days, even weeks.

Pope Francis lived a simple, humble life, and in his death, it will remain the same.

Traditionally, papal funerals have been elaborate, but Pope Francis didn't want that.

He requested his body not be put on a raised platform in the middle of Saint Peter's Basilica for public viewing.

"I've been interested in music and playing the piano for a long time," said Sam.

16-year-old Sam Parker has such confidence at the keyboard, it's as if the Immanuel Christian School sophomore was born to play.
