PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police are searching for a man after they say a voucher worth over $200 was stolen at Mohegan Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement Mohegan Wilkes-Barre Office is investigating a voucher theft on January 21 at Mohegan Pennsylvania Casino.

(NEXSTAR) — While tax season can feel daunting, the paperwork can be worth it if you’re getting a refund. Waiting for your refund, however, can feel taxing.

The tax filing season officially began on Jan. 27. Shortly after the season opened, the IRS said it had received “millions of tax returns from across the nation for processing.” 

More than 140 million tax returns are expected to be filed before the federal deadline on Tax Day — this year, it’s April 15. (You may have additional time to file federal taxes if you live in a federally declared disaster area.)

New type of non-opioid pain medication approved by FDA

(The Hill) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Journavx (suzetrigine) oral tablets on Thursday as a first-in-class non-opioid analgesic to treat acute pain in adults. 

“Today’s approval is an important public health milestone in acute pain management,” Jacqueline Corrigan-Curay, acting director of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research said in a statement.
