UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WTAJ) — Penn State offered guidance to international students Tuesday after several had their visas revoked by the government.

In a letter, Penn State Global Interim Vice Provost Sabine Klahr said the university was aware of some international students who had their status in the U.S. terminated.

"We want you to know that international students, scholars, and faculty at Penn State are valuedmembers of our campus community. Penn State is committed to supporting and assisting you," Klahr said.

Contractor sued for alleged 'subpar' work, violations

(WBRE/WYOU) — The attorney general announced a lawsuit against a Monroe-County-based home improvement contractor who failed to complete jobs, among other offenses.

Jeffrey Romansky, of Jeff Romansky Construction, is alleged to have violated the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act (HICPA) after he performed subpar work or failed to complete jobs and required illegal down payments.

Several customers filed complaints claiming that Romansky's work was not completed or was "substandard."
