PINE TOWNSHIP, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating a death in Columbia County.

Chief Paul Hilliard of the Locust Township Police Department told 28/22 News a bus with 32 students from the Elementary/Middle/High School Southern Columbia Area School District rolled over around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Southern Drive and Ashton Hollow Road.
The driver was operating the bus when debris flew into his side window, landing on his lap, Chief Hilliard stated.
The crash happened along Route 487 in Franklin Township, south of Catawissa, around 3 p.m. Thursday.
