POTTSTOWN, MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities in Montgomery County say an officer was shot Sunday evening.
The incident reportedly happened in the area of Winding Road Sunday evening, NBC10 reports.
Reports say police responded to a two-car crash late this afternoon in Pottstown.
According to reports, a source said a man involved in the crash tried to grab a gun from one of the cars, leading to a struggle with police.
The gunman then reportedly ran into his nearby home and opened fire.

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Downtown Hazleton is bursting with a sea of color as community spirit blooms for its first-ever Tulip Day. The event on Sunday afternoon at Can Do Community Park featured a stunning display of 50,000 blooming tulips.
All guests got to enjoy music, food trucks, and a chance to pick 10 tulips for free.
"People can get out, get downtown, pick some tulips, it's Spring. Tulips ARE spring. It's what Spring's all about," said Alex Van Hoekelen, Organizer from Van Hoekelen Greenhouses.

PITTSTON TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Work on Route 315 in the Pittston area is set to resume on Monday after a weather delay.
It will happen on the southbound side in the right-hand lane between the Pilot Travel Center and Oak Street.

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — In Scranton, part of Green Ridge Street will be closed for several days starting on Monday.
Pennsylvania American Water (PAW) has some work to do on that road between Albright Avenue and Ross Street.
PennDOT announces lane restrictions on I-81 in Susquehanna County
The closure will last through Friday, followed by lane restrictions the week after that.
The water company recommends drivers avoid that area and take a detour in that part of the Electric City.

LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Lycoming County District Attorney said suspects have been arrested in an 18-month cold case homicide investigation.

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Despite the rainy weather, thousands of people lined up in Scranton Sunday morning to tackle the 12th Annual Scranton Half Marathon.
What started as a cold, rainy day ended up being a perfect day for a run.
Nearly 2,000 people from 25 US States and six different countries laced up their running shoes and set off on the 13.1-mile route through the heart of the Electric City.
Runners 28/22 News spoke with say the course is a challenging one, but that didn't stop them from achieving some personal records.

SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) says there will be lane restrictions starting Monday on Interstate 81 in Susquehanna County.
PennDOT explains that there will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 North and Southbound from Exit 206, Glenwood/Lenoxville, to Exit 223, New Milford/Lakeside for tree trimming.
Work will be done from Monday, April 7, through Thursday, April 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)—Three buildings were damaged with one being a total loss after a Sunday morning fire in Kingston.
According to Chief Frank Guido of the Kingston/ Forty-Fort Fire Department, the fire on the 200 block of Zerby Avenue was spotted by Kingston Police patrol just after 1:00 a.m.
Chief Guido states that upon arrival, crews found flames shooting out the front of the home.
Officials say that the fire began a 223 Zerby Avenue, which has been ruled a total loss, but spread to 225 and 219 Zerby Avenue as well.
