Two transported after RV crashes into creek

GIBSON TOWNSHIP, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Two people were transported to a local hospital after a crash Thursday night.

According to Chief Mario Savino of the Clifford Township Volunteer Fire Company, crews were called to the intersection of PA-92 and State Route 2065 just after 8:00 p.m. for a report of an RV crashing into a creek.

When crews arrived on-scene, they found a woman sitting on the creek bank and a man still entrapped in the RV.

Fans are piling into Pocono Raceway by the thousands, getting ready for the weekend.

Hundreds of RVs, campers, and tents piled into the infield at Pocono Raceway.

The energy there was so high, you would think the race already began.

LEWISBURG, UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Crews responded to a tree into a house Thursday evening after storms passed through Central Pennsylvania.

According to Officer Mosso of the Buffalo Valley Regional Police, crews were called to the unit block of South Water Street just after 8:00 p.m. for reports of a tree into a house.

One person was home at the time, but got out themselves.

All utilities were turned off when crews arrived on-scene and will remain off for the night.
