LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials are searching for any relatives of a man who died in Lycoming County.
The Lycoming County Coroner's Office says they are searching for the family of 73-year-old James L. Neal who died and was residing at Williamsport North.
The coroner noted Neal previously lived at 450 Center Street in Williamsport.
Cattle truck crash kills 30-40 cows in Union County
Authorities stated Neal possibly has a cousin, Jerome Neal, in the area, but that is all officials could find about him.

POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania Lottery announced a ticket worth over $200,000 was sold at a 7-Eleven in Schuylkill County.
A top prize-winning ticket worth $203,200 for the BBQ Bucks game from the Pennsylvania Lottery was sold at 7-Eleven on South Claude Lord Boulevard in Pottsville on October 3.
7-Eleven will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man was arrested after police say he assaulted an 11-year-old and threw a baked potato at him during an argument.
According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on Friday, October 4 around 1:30 a.m. officers were called to Scott Street for a report of a domestic dispute.
Once on the scene, officers said a woman claimed her 11-year-old son, and Lawrence Bowman, 49, of Wilkes-Barre, got into an argument about her son being disrespectful towards Bowman.
Woman robbed at gunpoint at Sherman Hills Apartment

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are investigating an incident where a woman was robbed at gunpoint in the Sherman Hills Apartment complex.
According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on October 3 around 11:39 p.m., officers were called to 300 Parkview Circle for a reported robbery.
Once on the scene, the victim stated that she had arrived at Sherman Hills Apartment Complex to visit a friend.

BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man was sentenced to additional jail time after he threatened a witness during his court hearing for theft.
According to the Bradford County District Attorney's Office, 32-year-old Stephen Benting was sentenced to an additional 12 months to 24 months in prison on the charge of retaliation against witnesses.

HARTLEY TWP., UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report a cattle truck lost control and crashed, killing around 30-40 cows as a result.
According to PSP, on October 3 troopers were called to the 2000 block of State Route 45 in Hartley Township, Union County for a vehicle crash.
Two wanted on vehicle theft charges in Luzerne County
Through further investigation, troopers discovered that a cattle truck hauling around 90 cows was navigating a curve on the roadway and lost control.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY — Police say a Wilkes-Barre man has been charged with 40 counts of child pornography and other related crimes.
According to a criminal complaint, on September 25, police investigated a CyberTip relating to child sexual abuse material. Police say they found Kevin Ramirez, 28, linked to the accounts relating to the alleged child pornography.

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they are looking for two men wanted for various vehicle theft charges.
According to Hazleton City Police Department, on October 5, 2023 around 2:00 a.m., officers pulled over a Honda CRV that had a fake temporary tag from Georgia.
Officers identified the three men in the car as Luis Pena-Sanchez, Alejandro Valerio-Perez, and the driver Jeremy Amurys-Ferradas.
