SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Court documents confirm the suspect in the fatal Lowe's shooting has been charged with murder.
The Scranton Police Department says 36-year-old Christopher Wasnetsky shot and killed his coworker, Jeff Moeller.
According to police, they obtained security footage from the Lowe's on Viewmont Drive in Scranton showing Wasnetsky shooting Moeller on June 14 around 12:30 a.m., once from five feet away, then twice in the head up close.

28/22 News spoke to experts in several different fields, and they all agree: There is no one factor that is leading to the political violence we have witnessed in recent years, and no easy answers to, in their words, "De-escalate the political tensions in the nation."
"I think the genie is out of the bottle. I don't think we go back to where we were," Psychiatrist Doctor Matthew Berger told 28/22 News.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) said that President Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C., commemorating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, is comprised of the “best of us” and that it should be celebrated regardless of where one might stand on the political spectrum.

LEWIS TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police have released details on a stolen vehicle they say was intentionally set on fire.
According to police, the Trout Run Fire Department responded to a fire in the area of Four Mile Road and US Highway 15 in Lewis Township around 11:45 p.m. on May 27.
