PA Senators, Congressmen react after Charlie Kirk shot, killed

(WBRE/WYOU) — In the aftermath of the fatal shooting of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, several Pennsylvania officials released statements following the incident.

In the hours following the shooting, many Pennsylvania Senators and Congressmen posted on social media their reactions to the political commentator's death.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro posted on Facebook, condemning the attack.

Political violence has no place in our country.

Former Ritz Theater manager pleads not guilty to theft

(WBRE/WYOU) — The former business manager of the Ritz Theater in Scranton, accused of stealing over $74,000 from the business, pled not guilty to the charges on Wednesday.

48-year-old James Olecki of Clarks Summit was arrested in March for allegedly using a company credit card for unauthorized CashApp payments. However, Olecki maintains his innocence.

School worker accused of taping students’ mouths files lawsuit

In a press release, Olecki's lawyer called the charges a "smear campaign" by Ritz Theater owner Joshua Balz.
