BARRETT TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pocono Mountain Regional Police have announced the arrest of two individuals and a third suspect still on the run after a December 2023 arson attempt.
HUNLOCK TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Luzerne County Coroner says a 20-year-old is dead after a crash in Luzerne County.
Crews were called around 8:15 a.m. for a report of a crash on Route 11 in Hunlock Township near the SCI Retreat bridge.

The crash was between a car and a tractor-trailer pulling an oversized modular home on the back.
According to state police, 20-year-old Sebastian Shepherd, of Dalton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police are investigating the scene.
LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — PennDOT says there will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 in both directions in Lackawanna County that will last until mid-June.
According to PennDOT, between exits 180 (Moosic) and 188 (Dunmore/Throop), crews will be working from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. beginning Monday, May 19 and lasting until around mid-June.

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man accused of the brutal murder of a Luzerne County woman has been extradited from New York back to Hazleton to answer to murder charges.
55-year-old Terence Ray, who arrived at police headquarters in Hazleton around 1:30 p.m. Monday, is charged with the murder of 39-year-old Jessica Lockwood last month and then setting her body on fire.

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man who has previously been charged in a child rape investigation and having alleged sexual contact with another minor, has now been charged with the rape of an intellectually disabled teen.
According to police, Tara Glan, 22, Scranton, has been charged with rape of a mentally disabled person, Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person with a mental disability, and aggravated indecent assault.
